About the artist
Dan Hsu is an artist and designer who finds working with glass to be a unique blend of art and science. When creating his work, he feels the pull of his own design intentions verses the urge to let go and allow the physical properties of glass dictate the final aesthetic.
He is based out of Virginia and lives with his wife, two kids, and two cats. For several years he has been working with and teaching fused glass at the Workhouse Art Center in Lorton, VA.
